WhatsApp update could stop Android phone users making an embarrassing mistake

WhatsApp is working on an update for the Android version of its app that could stop users making an embarrassing mistake, according to Mirror.

At the moment, when you send an image to a contact on WhatsApp , a small icon appears at the top of the screen displaying the contact's profile picture.

This icon is so small that it can be easy to mistake your intended recipient for someone else - which could be very embarrassing if the image is, ahem, intimate in nature.

Luckily, WhatsApp is working on an update that will display the name of the recipient at the bottom of the screen, as well as the profile picture.
