Google Maps now tells you how crowded your bus, train or tube is likely to be

Anyone who lives in a busy city knows that unexpected delays and overcrowded vehicles can easily ruin your day, according to Mirror.

Now Google is hoping to relieve some of the pressure with a new feature in Google Maps called "crowdedness predictions".

As the name suggests, this will predict for how crowded your bus, train or tube is likely to be based on previous journeys.

This information will appear in-line, when you select your route within Google Maps.
